Targmanchats Church Parpi

In the village of Parpi on a hill on the eastern side of the village is the small but picturesque Targmanchats (Holy Translator) Church. It is surrounded by a cemetery. The church was built in the 7th century and rebuilt in the 10th-11th century, an argument can also be made that it was rebuilt between 12th-14th centuries. It has a cruciform tetraconch plan with equal sized wings ending in an apse.
