In the center of Parpi is the 13th century St. Grigor Lusavorich (St. Gregory the Illuminator) church. The church is a rectangular planned vaulted hall. It has a cupola over the western side of the church. Most the of the church was rebuilt in the 19th century. Immediately surrounding the church there are remnants of older walls which may have been the foundations of an older church.
