The 10th-11th century Neghuts Monastery is located on the gentle slopes 2km northwest of the village of Arzakan in the Kotayk province. The monastery has two remaining buildings, the church of St. Astvatsatsin (Holy Mother of God) and a beautiful gavit (narthex/entrance hall) adjoining it from the west.
