Hayravank
The picturesque Hayravank, is a 9th-12th century monastery built on the beautiful southwest shore of Lake Sevan. The monastic complex consists of a church, chapel, and gavit (narthex). Unfortunately, the original drum and dome had collapsed completely but were rebuilt between 1977 and 1989. The monastery was built in the area of ancient Bronze Age settlement (2000-1000 BC).
